Ring in the New Year with a free, memorable evening featuring pop-up performances and a dazzling midnight fireworks display.
The celebration kicks off on December 31 at 10 p.m. with fireworks at midnight, visible from anywhere with a view of Toronto’s inner harbour.
There are no fireworks at City Hall or Nathan Phillips Square.
The TTC is offering free service on New Year’s Eve from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. Plan your trip.
To prevent overcrowding in Union Station following the fireworks, all TTC customers will be directed to line up on Bay Street, south of Front Street.
Accessible entry will be maintained on Bay Street and through the Bay Promenade inside the station.
TTC riders are encouraged to consider using alternate stations such as King, Queen, St. Andrew and Osgoode to avoid crowds at Union Station.
