The City of Toronto honours those who served and gave their lives to their country with annual ceremonies on Remembrance Day and on other significant historical military occasions that are of importance to Toronto.

The following anniversaries will be recognized in 2025:

  • Centennial of the Cenotaph at Old City Hall
  • 80th anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands by Canadian Forces
  • 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War including the end of the Battle of the Atlantic and VE Day
