With more than 16,000 registered courses and more than 155,000 spaces available, there’s something for all ages, interests and skill levels during the cooler months. Winter programs start the week of Monday, January 6, 2025.

Many winter recreation programs are adapted to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. To ensure a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience, classes are smaller, additional assistance is provided and sometimes adaptive equipment is used. To access Adapted and Inclusive Services (AIS) you need an AIS membership.

The City uses Cisco Webex Meetings for Virtual Adapted Recreation programs. Once registered, participants will be sent instructions by email on how to access the program online a few days before the class start date.

Learn a new craft, improve your existing creative skills or just have fun with our arts, hobbies and interests programs. From cooking to painting, our qualified staff will teach you the technical skills to take your talent to the next level.

Holiday CampTO, PA Day CampTO and March Break CampTO are winter-friendly camp experiences that offer physical activities, active and quiet games and arts and crafts activities. They are available at various locations across the city.
Adapted CampTO offers a safe, enjoyable and rewarding camp experience for individuals with disabilities, ages six to 12.
Holiday CampTO is offered from December 23, 2024 to January 3, 2025.
PA Day Camps are offered on January 17 and February 15, 2025.
March Break CampTO is offered from March 10 to March 14, 2025.

We offer swimming classes for children, youth, adults and older adults, at many levels. Participants will be able to improve their swimming skills, get out of their comfort zone and increase their knowledge of water safety. Our instructors ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Some programs require a caregiver in the water to participate.
Programs are popular and many have waiting lists. If you can no longer attend the program you are registered for, contact the community centre where the program is offered or call 416-396-7378, so the spot can be offered to someone else. If you do not attend the first two classes and have not notified us, you will be contacted and may be withdrawn from the program. This will allow others on the waitlist to participate. So…if you can’t go, let us know!
