Island Stories is a collective storytelling project created to capture the unique ways Torontonians experience Toronto Island.

The island means something different to everyone. As part of the Toronto Island Park Master Plan project, we’re reflecting on the special role the Island plays in the lives of Torontonians from all walks of life. We want to hear from you! Share a post, send a video, write a story, make some art – whatever feels right. Because every island story is worth sharing.

Notice of Collection Statement

Parks, Forestry and Recreation collects personal information under the legal authority of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, SO 2006, Chapter 11, Schedule A, sections 8 and 136 (c) and City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 608, Parks. Your name and email address will only be used to keep you informed about the progress of the Island Stories campaign and the Toronto Island Master Plan. Submissions to the toronto.ca/islandstories website that abide by the Terms of Use will be shared publicly on the site, and may be used in other publications related to the Toronto Island Master Plan. Alternate Service Provider

The Island Stories project has hired High Top to assist in administering the program. High Top operates under an agreement with the City of Toronto and is considered a consultant as per section 32 (d) of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
