 Responding to the request by Etobicoke Community Council to have staff prepare an overall policy incorporating the four existing Wards, and recommending:

 (1)funding of $10,000 per Ward be deposited into the 1999 Parks Development and Improvement budget;

 (2)the equal sharing of these funds between Wards should more than one playground per Ward be requested; and

 (3)the spending of each Ward's remaining allotment on playground upgrades within respective Wards, should no request come forward by the August 1 deadline.

  8.OFFICE SPACE - ETOBICOKE COMMUNITY CARE ACCESS CENTRE.

11.INTRODUCTION OF ON-STREET PARKING PERMITS IN THE STONEGATE AREA.

 (1)the On-Street Permit Parking Programme be introduced on the south side of Berry Road between Park Lawn Road and Kinsdale Boulevard; on the north side of Berry Road between the Humber River and Stephen Drive; and Bell Manor Drive and Park Lawn Road;

 (2)the On-Street Permit Parking Programme be introduced on the east side of Park Lawn Road from a point 98.0 metres south of Kinsdale Boulevard to Kinsdale Boulevard; and between Kinsdale Boulevard and Berry Road;

 (3)the On-Street Permit Parking Programme be introduced on the north side of Kinsdale Boulevard between Berry Road and Park Lawn Road; on the south side of Kinsdale Boulevard between Berry Road and Newholm Road; and Cloverhill Road and Park Lawn Road;

 (4)the On-Street Permit Parking Programme be introduced on the south side of Heatherdale Road between Cloverhill Road and the west limit of the road;

 (5)the On-Street Permit Parking Programme be introduced on the east side of Cloverhill Road between Berry Road and Kinsdale Boulevard; and on the west side of Cloverhill Road between Kinsdale Boulevard and Heatherdale Road;

 (3)the appropriate by-law (Attachment No. 1) be amended accordingly.

18.REQUEST FOR THE CLOSURE OF THE MUNICIPAL WALKWAY BETWEEN GOA COURT AND EDILOU DRIVE.

 Responding to a petition requesting the closure of a municipal walkway between Goa Court and Edilou Drive, and recommending that a public meeting be held to obtain the views of the local residents regarding the closure request for the municipal walkway between Goa Court and Edilou Drive.

  19.REQUEST FOR CLOSURE OF THE MUNICIPAL WALKWAY BETWEEN BLACKBUSH DRIVE AND NETHERLY DRIVE.

 Responding to a petition requesting the closure of a municipal walkway between Blackbush Drive and Netherly Drive, and recommending that:

 (1)Community Council convene a public meeting this summer to obtain the views of the local residents regarding a temporary closure of the municipal walkway between Blackbush Drive and Netherly Drive for a period of six months; and

 (2)the closure of the subject walkway be reassessed after the six-nine month trial period to determine if permanent closure is desirable.

  20.SHELDON AVENUE WATER SUPPLY.

 Responding to a request of Etobicoke Community Council, at its meeting held May 27, 1998, to report on correspondence received from Councillor Irene Jones, Lakeshore-Queensway, requesting that watermain improvements on Sheldon Avenue be moved forward to 1999.

  21.MOBILE SIGNS.

 As directed by the Etobicoke Community Council, a public meeting has been scheduled to obtain the views of the public and the sign industry with respect to mobile signs.

Written submissions will be made available at the public meeting.

  22.FUNDING OF SIGNS POSTED ON 3857, 3859 AND 3861 LAKE SHORE BOULEVARD WEST.
