1.REQUEST TO PURCHASE PROPERTY ABUTTING

Requesting input on a real estate matter concerning lands abutting 169 Hopedale Avenue and recommending to the
Corporate Services Committee that:
(1)the City of Toronto decline the offer to purchase city owned lands abutting 169 Hopedale Avenue; and
(2)the appropriate City Officials be authorized to give effect thereto.
Mr. A. Lamprecht, East York, will appear at 2:00 p.m. with respect to the foregoing matter.
2.REQUEST FOR A DISABLED PARKING SPACE
IN THE VICINITY OF 470 MAIN STREET.

Advising that the Transportation Division was in receipt of a letter from Ms. Jackie LaPointe, East York, requesting the
implementation of a disabled parking space adjacent to 470 Main Street and recommending that:
(1)the necessary by-laws be amended to implement an alternate-side disabled parking space on the west side of Main
Street, from a point 131.8 metres south of Lumsden Avenue to a point 137.6 metres south of Lumsden Avenue, and on the
east side of Main Street, from a point 126.0 metres south of Lumsden Avenue to a point 131.8 metres south of
Lumsden Avenue;
(2)this disabled parking space be removed when Mrs. Jackie R. LaPointe ceases to reside at 470 Main Street; and
(3)the appropriate City Officials be authorized and directed to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.
3.REMOVAL OF A DISABLED PARKING SPACE
ON LANGFORD AVENUE.

Requesting the removal of a disabled parking space on Langford Avenue adjacent to 172 Langford Avenue and
recommending that:
(1)the necessary By-laws be amended to remove the ADisabled Parking Only@ parking space on Langford Avenue and
reinstate the space for Overnight Permit Parking use, and;
(2)the appropriate City Officials be authorized and directed to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.
4.IMPLEMENTATION OF A DISABLED
LOADING ZONE ADJACENT TO
975 COSBURN AVENUE.

Advising that the Transportation Division had received a letter from the Christadelphian Ecclesia Church at 975 Cosburn
Avenue, expressing concern with respect to the parking occurring in the disabled parking zone adjacent to the church and
recommending that:
(1)By-law No. 34-93 of the former Borough of East York be amended to replace the existing ADisabled Parking Only,
9:00 a.m and 11:00 p.m.@ zone adjacent to 975 Cosburn Avenue with a ADisabled Pick-up/Drop-off Only, 9:00 a.m. to
11:00 p.m.@ zone, and;
(2)the appropriate City Officials be authorized and directed to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.
5.PROPOSED IMPLEMENTATION
OF PARKING RESTRICTIONS
ON BROADWAY AVENUE.

Responding to a request to implement one hour parking from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on Broadway
Avenue, between Bayview Avenue and Bessborough Drive and recommending that:
(1)the necessary By-law be amended to implement a AOne Hour Parking, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday@
restriction on the north side of Broadway Avenue, from Bessborough Drive to a point 56 metres west of Bessborough
Drive, and;
(2)the appropriate City Officials be authorized and directed to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.
6.REQUEST FOR AN ALL-WAY
STOP CONTROL AT THE INTERSECTION
OF SQUIRES AVENUE AND FURNIVAL ROAD.

Advising that the Transportation Division received a letter from Councillor Ootes, on behalf of a resident, requesting an
all-way stop control at the intersection of Squires Avenue and Furnival Road and recommending that:
(1)the necessary by-laws be amended to replace existing "Yield" signs with "Stop" signs on Furnival Road at Squires
Avenue; and
(2)the appropriate City Officials be authorized and directed to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.
7.OFFICIAL PLAN AND ZONING BY-LAW
AMENDMENT APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED
BY KATMANDU INVESTMENT CORPORATION
IN CONNECTION WITH 1590 O=CONNOR DRIVE.

Advising that Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Applications were submitted to develop the property at 1590
O=Connor Drive with a housing development consisting of 72 semi-detached dwellings and 34 live-work townhouse units
located along the site=s O=Connor Drive frontage and recommending that the East York Community Council convene a
simultaneous evening public meeting for this application and for the larger O=Connor Employment Area Study and that
staff be directed to set up this meeting within a three to four month time frame.
8.DRAFT PLAN OF CONDOMINIUM APPLICATION
SUBMITTED BY INVAR BUILDING CORPORATION
IN CONNECTION WITH 7 OVERLEA BOULEVARD.

9.WARD BOUNDARY REVIEW PROCESS.
