To amend Scarborough Zoning By-law No. 9396 as amended
with respect to the Cliffcrest Community,
and Scarborough Zoning By-law No. 24982 as amended
with respect to the Knob Hill Employment District.
WHEREAS authority is given to Council by Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.
13, as amended, to pass this By-law; and whereas Council of the City of Toronto has provided
adequate information to the public and has held at least one public meeting in accordance with
the Planning Act;
The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1.Scarborough By-law No. 24982, the Employment Districts By-law, is amended as follows:
1.1.The provisions of By-law No. 24982 shall no longer apply to the land shown outlined
without shading on Schedule "1";
2.Scarborough By-law No. 9396, the Cliffcrest Community By-law, is amended as follows:
2.1.CLAUSE IV - ZONES is amended by adding the following zone:

2.2.CLAUSE V - INTERPRETATION, (f) Definitions, is amended by adding the
following definition:
Public Transportation Uses
shall mean the use of land, buildings or structures, or portions thereof, for the operation of a
transportation system which is provided by, or under the control of, a public authority, but
excludes a transit vehicle maintenance yard and/or storage facility.
2.3.CLAUSE VIII - ZONE PROVISIONS is amended by adding the following zone:
15.Institutional Uses - Public Transit (I-PT) Zone
Permitted Uses
-Public Transportation Uses
-Ancillary commuter parking facilities
2.4.Schedule "A" is amended by adding thereto the lands shown outlined without shading on
Schedule "1", and by deleting the current zoning and substituting the following zoning as
shown on Schedule "1":

2.5.Schedule "C", the EXCEPTIONS LIST, is amended by adding Exception Number 31 as
follows:
31.On those lands identified as Exception 31 on the accompanying map, the following
provisions shall apply, provided that all other provisions of the By-law not inconsistent with
this Exception shall continue to apply:
a)Additional Permitted Uses:
-Fraternal Organizations
-Private and Public Educational Institutions
-Private and Public Recreational Uses and Commercial Uses incidental thereto;
2.6.Exception Number 31 is added to the lands outlined by the heavy black line on the
accompanying Schedule "2".
