Advising that the Toronto Cycling Committee on November 22, 1999, identified the issue of 'SMOG' as the first in a series
of discussion topics relating to the Toronto Cycling Master Plan Study; and that Ms. Franca Ursitti, Research Consultant,
Health Promotion and Environmental Protection Unit, Planning and Policy, Toronto Public Health, would be making a
presentation to the Committee on January 17, 2000.
(PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COMMITTEE HAS ALLOCATED A MAXIMUM OF 1.25 HOURS FOR DISCUSSION
ON THIS TOPIC.)

Advising that the Sub-Committee at its meeting held on October 17, 1999, recommended to the Toronto Cycling
Committee that the Communications Sub-Committee and the Promotions and Development Sub-Committee be merged.

3. APPOINTMENT OF REPRESENTATIVE TO THE TORONTO
CYCLING COMMITTEE BY THE TORONTO BICYCLE NETWORK.

4. PORT LANDS CONSULTATION PROCESS.

from Mr. Stephen Fisher, Co-Chair, Toronto Cycling Committee

Submitting, on behalf of the Port Lands Working Group, comments with respect to the Port Lands project; and requesting
that the Toronto Cycling Committee have direct input in the process as the project moves into the design phase.
