DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST PURSUANT TO

COMMUNICATIONS/REPORTS:
APPOINTMENT TO THE TORONTO TRANSIT COMMISSION.

Recommending that:
(1) the Striking Committee submit to Council, for its consideration, Councillor Kinahan's resignation from the Toronto
Transit Commission;
(2) the Striking Committee give consideration to Members' preferences outlined in Schedule 1, and recommend to City
Council the appointment of a Member of Council to the Toronto Transit Commission, who is a resident of the City; and
(3) the appropriate City Officials be authorized and directed to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.

Advising that at its meeting on Wednesday January 12, 2000, the Commission received a letter from Councillor Blake F.
Kinahan advising that he was resigning as a member of the Toronto Transit Commission, effective immediately; and
requesting that the necessary action be initiated with the Striking Committee and Council to replace Councillor Kinahan on
the TTC.

Advising the General Secretary of the TTC of his resignation from the Commission effective immediately.
APPOINTMENTS TO ST. LAWRENCE CENTRE BOARD OF MANAGEMENT, AND HOCKEY HALL OF
FAME BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

Recommending that:
(1) the Striking Committee submit to Council, for its consideration, Councillor Pantalone's resignation from the St.
Lawrence Centre for the Arts, Board of Management;
(2) the Striking Committee give consideration to Members' preferences outlined in Schedule 1, and recommend to City
Council the appointment of Members of Council to the following Boards:
(i) Hockey Hall of Fame, Board of Directors; and
(ii) St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, Board of Management, upon the acceptance of Councillor Pantalone's resignation
from such Board; and
(3) the appropriate City Officials be authorized and directed to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.

Advising that, in accordance with By-law No. 9 of the Corporation, as amended, the City of Toronto is entitled to nominate
three persons for election to the Board of Directors, and requesting that the Clerk provide written notice of the City of
Toronto's nominations no later than February 4, 2000, for election at the Annual Meeting to be held on March 28, 2000.
