The Budget Committee requested the following Briefing Notes for the wrap-up meeting on October 23, 2009:
1. from the General Manager of Toronto Water on the impact on the 2010 budget if the Downspout Disconnection Program were to be discontinued and the legal implications of doing so; and
2. from the General Manager of Solid Waste Management Services on the 2010 and long-term 10-year cumulative impact of an increase of 3.5% for Solid Waste versus the current proposal.
