Ann Borooah, Chief Building Official and Executive Director Toronto Building, and Dan Mousseau, Project Manager, Sign By-law, Toronto Building, made an overhead presentation to the Civic Appointments Committee on the new Sign Variance Committee.
The Civic Appointments Committee recessed its public session and met in closed session to consider confidential information on this Item as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Sign Variance Committee. |

Vacancy on the Toronto Licensing Tribunal |
Committee Decision |
The Civic Appointments Committee:
1. requested the City Clerk to advise the Toronto Licensing Tribunal that the Committee will not be filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Joel Dick at this time; and
2. requested the Toronto Licensing Tribunal to notify the Civic Appointments Committee should this vacancy present a problem. |

CA24.2 - Vacancy on the Toronto Licensing Tribunal Reason for Confidential Information: Personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Licensing Tribunal.
The Civic Appointments Committee recessed its public session at 12:34 p.m. to meet in closed session to consider the above matters, in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006.
The Civic Appointments Committee reconvened in public session at 2:44 p.m. Councillor Vaughan advised that the Civic Appointments Committee had completed its closed session consideration of confidential information related to these Items. The Committee would now proceed with the public debate on the Items.
