If you are submitting letters, faxes, e-mails, presentations or other communications to the City, you should be aware that your name and the fact that you communicated with the City will become part of the public record and will appear on the City’s website. The City will also make your communication and any personal information in it – such as your postal address, telephone number or e-mail address – available to the public, unless you expressly request the City to remove it.

The City videotapes committee and community council meetings. If you make a presentation to a committee or community council, the City will be videotaping you and City staff may make the video tapes available to the public.

Communications/Reports

The Deputy City Manager and Chief Financial Officer recommends that:

1.         The Debenture Committee approve the issue of a 15 year amortizing debenture in aggregate principal amount of $57,743,758 to CMHC under the Municipal Infrastructure Lending Program, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Commitment Letters and the Loan Agreement entered into by the Mayor and Deputy City Manager and Chief Financial Officer, and in accordance with this report.

2.         The Debenture Committee grant authority for the introduction of the necessary bills to the Debenture Committee to authorize the issue of the debenture described in Recommendation 1.

3.         The Debenture Committee authorize the appropriate City officials to take the necessary actions to give effect thereto.
