Summary |
Member motion regarding the revitalization of the industrial area bounded by Black Creek Drive, Eglinton Ave, Jane Street and Trethewey Avenue has received considerable City attention and effort but there has been limited progress.
The general consensus is that the planned transit improvements in the area will trigger significant rejuvenation and re-development. In an effort to ensure that appropriate and desirable developments occur, I am requesting that the City of Toronto adhere to good planning principals so that the Black Creek Drive and Eglinton Avenue node becomes a key transportation network destination. |
