Closed Meeting Requirements: If the Advisory Committee on Long-Term Care Homes and Services wants to meet in closed session (privately), a member of the Committee must make a motion to do so and give the reason why the Committee has to meet privately. (City of Toronto Act, 2006)

Recommendations |
The General Manager, Long-Term Care Homes and Services recommends that the draft 2009 audited financial statements for the City of Toronto Long‑Term Care Homes and Services Residents’ Interest Trust Fund be approved. |
Summary |
Ernst & Young has completed the annual audit of the City of Toronto Long-Term Care Homes and Services Residents’ Interest Trust Fund and has prepared a draft report for the Advisory Committee on Long-Term Care Homes and Services.
Once the draft audited financial statements have been approved, a final copy will be issued. |

During National Volunteer Week, a special recognition ceremony was held at City Hall honouring volunteers from Toronto Long-Term Care Homes and Services. Plaques were presented to groups and individuals from each home, a divisional recipient and to a resident volunteer. |
