There are many adventures in the city for skateboarders and bike riders of all levels. The city is home to 15 outdoor and three indoor skateparks, four bike parks and one challenging shared-use natural trail.

Parks are either all skill level or beginner to intermediate skill level

Beach Skatepark

  • 1420 Lake Shore Blvd. E., along the beach boardwalk on the south side of Lake Shore Blvd. E.

Beach skatepark is Toronto’s largest skatepark. It’s a plaza-style street skatepark, with ledges, banks, stairs, rails, hubbas, gaps, and granite-capped ledges. The skatepark also has an 11’ deep kidney bowl with pool coping and a stair channel.

Ellesmere Skatepark

Concrete community skatepark with a mix of street and transition features. A central flow area is surrounded by an outer ring filled with quarter pipes, ledges, banks, stairs, rails, hubbas and manual pads.

Neilson Skatepark

Some features include a beginner level 3 stair drop, an intermediate level 5 drop and an assortment of flat ground features.

Vanderhoof Skatepark

Vanderhoof skatepark has a large U-shaped bowl, with a long 5′ shallow-end mini-ramp curving into a 9′ deep-end bowl, with several extensions, pool coping in the deep-end and a challenging over-vert cradle. The skatepark also includes a basic street area with a bank, long ledge and manual pad, and a small kicker to stairs and hubba.

Cummer Skatepark

Dufferin Grove Skatepark

  • 875 Dufferin Park Ave., (northwest corner of Dufferin Grove Park)
  • Open spring to fall, dawn to dusk.

Small community skatepark on smooth concrete ground featuring wooden elements that are redesigned and rebuilt annually by local skateboarders. The layout changes every year, but usually includes several ledges, manual pads, kickers and a quarterpipe.

Dunbat Skatepark

  • 275 Bathurst St.
  • Open spring to fall, lights on until 11 pm.
  • Washrooms available at Scadding Court Community Centre during operating hours

Community skatepark on smooth concrete featuring wooden elements that are redesigned and rebuilt annually by local skateboarders. The layout changes every year, but usually includes several ledges, manual pads, banks and a 5′ mini ramp.

East York Skatepark

Concrete community skatepark, designed with input from the local East York youth group. Includes a street plaza style area and a tight 5’ figure-eight bowl. The street area consists of a ‘Pier 7’ manual pad, multiple stair-sets, several larger stairs, rails, ledges, hubbas, a long ‘Wave’ banked ledge and two granite-capped ledges.

Eighth Street Skatepark

Concrete community skatepark with a mix of flow and street, with a tight 5’ peanut-shaped bowl. This skatepark includes various-sized quarter pipes, banks, stairs, rails, ledges, manual pads and granite-capped hubbas.

Fundy Bay Skatepark

Concrete community skatepark with banks, ledges, rails, a pyramid and small bowl.

Lawrence Heights Skatepark

Modular community skatepark featuring various ledges, rails, banks, quarter pipes and a mini-halfpipe on an asphalt slab.

Port Union Skatepark

Also known as Crossroads Skatepark, this is a concrete community skatepark with a variety of banks, ledges, rails, hubbas, manual pads, a funbox and small ¾ bowl.

Smithfield Skatepark

Modular skate spot featuring various ledges, rails, banks, quarter pipes and a spine-ramp on an asphalt slab.

Underpass Skatepark

Modular community skatepark located beneath an overpass, which provides a sanctuary from the elements. Includes various pre-fabricated ledges and manual pads, rails and some small banks, set on a concrete pad.

Weston Lions Skatepark

Weston Lions is a modular community skatepark featuring various ledges, rails, banks, quarter pipes and a spine-ramp on an asphalt slab.

West Lodge Skatepark

A small concrete skate spot with a few ramps and ledges.

These skateparks are all Beginner to Intermediate.

Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre

This drop-in skateboarding spot has wooden and prefabricated ramps, rails and ledges on linoleum tiled gymnasium floor.

Phil White Arena

This seasonal, drop-in skatepark is set up on a drained ice rink with wooden and prefabricated ramps, rails and ledges.

Bayview Arena Bike Park

This is a 3000 square metre park with a series of dirt jumps, berms, and tabletops accessible to riders with various skills and experience.

Centennial Park Pan Am BMX Centre

  • 165 Centennial Park Blvd.
  • Open dawn to dusk, May 2 to October 31 (weather permitting)

This park has a compact, closed-loop design filled with challenging jumps. It has four straightaways, three banked turns, one five metre start ramp and one eight metre start ramp.

Crothers Woods

Crothers Woods offers approximately 9 km of multi-use, one-metre wide dirt trails with some steep sections. These are rated as intermediate level trails. Share the trails! This spot is popular with pedestrians.

Sunnyside Bike Park

  • 3 Ellis Ave. (Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Ellis Ave.)
  • Open from dawn to dusk
  • No parking available onsite – roundabout for pick-up/drop-off

This park offers progressively difficult challenges and opportunities for off-road cycling skill building.

Wallace Emerson BMX Park

  • Open from sunrise to 9 p.m. daily
  • Drop-in supervised BMX rides four nights/week excluding holidays
  • This park has programming from May to October
  • No parking available onsite

The BMX Park at Wallace Emerson Park features a 500-foot, single-track dirt trail, a beginner-level pump track and metal intermediate/advanced-level ramps.
