Golf courses are closed for the season and will reopen for golf play in Spring 2025. Snow loops and disc golf are available during the winter off-season.

The City operates five golf courses.

Visit each course page to book your tee time and for green fees.

Golfers are encouraged to book in advance. Tee times can be booked:

  • online by visiting the individual course page
  • by phone by calling the golf course

Tee time start times – including twilight start times – vary throughout the season. Tee time ends at dusk and are 10 minutes apart.

Nine-hole play is available only early morning or in the late evening. Available nine-hole tee times are adjusted seasonally to reflect daylight hours.

Junior Golf Memberships

  • Ages nine to 18
  • $393.05/person (including tax)
  • Limited number of memberships available for purchase
  • Can be used at all five City golf courses, all season

Junior memberships are designed for youth who know how to play the game of golf and can keep up with the pace on the course. Tee times may be booked as follows:

  • Monday to Friday after 11 a.m., except statutory holidays
  • Saturday, Sunday and holidays only when booked and accompanied by paying customer(s)

Members must present their membership card each time they play. Members who do not respect booked tee times may be charged for the price of junior green fee ticket(s).

How to Apply

Junior memberships must be purchased between March 18, 2024 and June 2, 2024. Memberships will not be sold after June 2, 2024.

In-person

Visit a Client Services counter to purchase the Junior Golf Membership.

Bring with you:

  • a completed Junior Golf Membership Application Form
  • proof of age (e.g. birth certificate, student card) for the applicant
  • appropriate photo identification for the applicant
  • a photo of the applicant will be taken if not already on your account
  • In-person payment accepted:
    • cheques
    • cash
    • debit
    • major credit cards
  • Welcome Policy credit is also accepted

General Leagues and Tournaments

Leagues and tournaments are available at Toronto courses. For more information contact the Pro Shop at each course.

Junior Leagues and Tournaments

Toronto golf courses have a lot to offer to juniors looking to play in competitive events. Juniors have a long history of strong participation in our annual Club and City Championship tournaments.

Each of our five courses hosts an annual Club Championship tournament with a Juniors Division. Qualifying golfers from each Division go on to challenge players from each of the five courses at the City Championship.

Women’s League

The women’s league is all about participation and having fun. Make new and lasting friendships with other women golf enthusiasts as you improve your golf game. Women’s League memberships are available at City of Toronto courses Tam O’Shanter, Dentonia and Scarlett Woods. Dentonia Park organizes the city’s largest Women’s League. Membership benefits include reserved evening tee times, lesson clinics, inter-club events and a season-ending championship. Contact the Pro Shop for details.

Alcohol Policy

No personal alcoholic beverages are allowed on the courses. Alcohol is available for purchase through concessions.

Course Etiquette

  • Play “ready golf” but always be aware of fellow golfers’ position around you
  • Replace divots on tees, fairways and greens
  • Rake sand bunkers after use
  • Be quiet when golfers are preparing to hit their shot
  • Follow course signs and directions from Starters and Play Coordinators
  • Each player is expected to have their own set of golf clubs to maintain pace of play. Clubs are available for rent

Rain Check

Rain Checks will be made available if any of the following conditions occur:

  • The course closes
  • It has been raining for 30 minutes and the golfer chooses not to continue
  • The greens have flooded
  • There is lightning

Play disc golf in City parks and golf courses. It’s free to play and open all year round – all you need to do is bring the disc!

Rules for disc golf at City golf courses

  • One round per day will be available for disc golf after the last golf tee time
  • Disc Golfers are to show up 30 minutes before their tee time to pay for their round
  • Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) code in effect at all times
  • Cannot throw multiple discs from teeing area
  • Throwing may only begin once the group in front has finished the hole and completely left the green
  • Disc golfers must not pass golfers and must maintain a distance of one golf hole behind golfers

Etiquette

  • Allow faster groups to play through
  • Keep noise and music levels to a minimum
  • Put litter in its place
  • Follow local course rules
  • Remove your disc from the basket
  • Stay behind the disc
  • Help find lost discs
  • Follow posted signs and rules
  • Observe your surroundings before throwing
  • Leave the tree branches and foliage

Snow loops typically open for the winter season in December.
